Important Travel Advice

With over 60,000 people attending multiple events at Moore Park on Sunday, including an A-League match at Allianz Stadium, AFL fans are urged to catch public transport and leave the car at home to avoid significant traffic delays and high demand for parking.

Extra services will run before and after the game.

  • Make a day of it and plan to arrive early, SCG gates open at 1.30pm. Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire St and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

Driving

  • If you must drive, you will need to arrive earlier than usual to secure a parking spot as on-site parking will fill quickly. Grass car parks on Driver Ave open from 12.15pm, while EQ car park is open 24 hours. Limited parking will also be available at Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland St. A flat rate event parking fee of $30 will apply to all car parks.
