Trains and buses run regularly to Parramatta Station, where you can connect with light rail services from Parramatta Square to the Prince Alfred Square stop and walk to CommBank Stadium via Victoria Road. Alternatively, it's a 15-minute walk from the station. Some buses also make stops outside the stadium on O’Connell Street. Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to and from the match. Allow extra travel time, you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Traffic will also be heavy following the match as everyone leaves car parks at the same time. Be patient and follow the directions of traffic controllers and Police. If you’re travelling home by taxi or rideshare, choose a pick-up location away from the stadium to avoid traffic delays.
Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to Western Sydney Wanderers 2025 season home games at CommBank Stadium includes travel to and from CommBank Stadium on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to Western Sydney Wanderers 2025 season home games at CommBank Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night.
Change at Central for a train service to Parramatta. Alternatively change at Epping for a bus, or for a train service to Strathfield to connect with trains to Parramatta.

From 10pm Friday 28 February to Monday 3 March: metro services run between Tallawong, Martin Place and Central only, to a reduced frequency. Change at Martin Place for metro services towards Tallawong or Central, or T4 trains to Sydenham. On Sunday, from 2am to 8am, buses replace all trains between Central, Sydenham and Hurstville.

Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 2 March on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- M1 Metro Line: Metro services run between Tallawong, Martin Place and Central only, to a reduced frequency. Change at Martin Place for metro services towards Tallawong or Central, or T4 trains to Sydenham. From 2am to 4pm, train trackwork may affect how you travel. Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle. From 2am to 8am, buses replace all trains between Central, Sydenham and Hurstville. Change at Central for buses towards Sydenham and Hurstville.
- City Circle: From 2am to 4pm, trains will not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel around the City use the light rail or local bus services. T4 Eastern Suburbs Line trains continue to run between Central and Bondi Junction. Metro services run between Tallawong, Martin Place, and Central only.
- T1 North Shore Line: From 2am to 4pm, trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra and Wynyard only. Trains will not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle. If travelling to the City use metro services, or change at Wynyard for light rail or local bus services. Metro services run between Tallawong, Martin Place, and Central only.
- T1 Western Line: Richmond trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Olympic Park only. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City. On Sunday from 2am to 4pm, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Penrith and Ashfield only. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central, or remain on the train for Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield. Richmond trains run between Richmond and Liverpool. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 2am to 4pm, buses replace trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. T1 Western Line trains run between Penrith, Lidcombe and Ashfield only. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central, or remain on the train for Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 2am to 4pm, buses replace trains between Ashfield and Central Trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. T1 Western Line trains run between Penrith, Lidcombe and Ashfield only. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central, or remain on the train for Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Metro services run between Central, Martin Place, and Tallawong only. On Sunday from 4am to 8am, buses replace trains between Hurstville and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Cronulla and Hurstville, and between Central and Bondi Junction.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: From 2am to 4pm, trains run between Bankstown and Lidcombe to a changed frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T8 Airport & South Line: T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City Circle. T4 trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, with some trains making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Metro services run between Central, Martin Place and Tallawong only. On Sunday from 2am to 8am, buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central. T4 trackwork between Central and Hurstville may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for T4 Eastern Suburbs Line trains, or buses towards T4 Illawarra and South Coast Line stations. From 2am to 4pm, trains run between Macarthur and Central via the Airport, to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
- T9 Northern Line: From 2am to 4pm, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Hornsby and Strathfield.
- Blue Mountains Line: Most trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only. Change trains at Blacktown to continue your journey. Trains from Blacktown to Blue Mountains Line stations run up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable. Some late night or early morning trains will run around the City Circle. Bathurst trains run to the normal timetable between Bathurst and Central. On Sunday from 2am to 4pm, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Most trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change at Epping for metro services to the City or change trains at Strathfield to continue your journey. Some late night or early morning trains will run around the City Circle. On, Sunday from 2am to 4pm, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central.
- South Coast Line: From 4am to 8am, buses replace trains between Hurstville and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Hurstville only. From 7.30am to 11.30am, at Helensburgh and Otford, all trains leave from platform 1. From 12pm to 4pm, at Otford and Helensburgh, all trains leave from platform 2.

A number of buses run to and from Parramatta Interchange, where you can connect with light rail services from Parramatta Square to Prince Alfred Square stop and walk to CommBank Stadium via Victoria Road. Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Stand A4 at Parramatta Interchange and make stops on O’Connell Street outside the stadium. These routes include 546, 600, 601, 603, 604, 606 and 706. All bus services are accessible.

The closest wharf to CommBank Stadium is Parramatta Wharf.
From the wharf, walk to the Robin Thomas light rail stop via the riverside and Argus Lane to connect with services to Prince Alfred Square to get within walking distance of CommBank Stadium.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Parramatta but services are popular and may reach capacity. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly, plan your trip using Trip Planner.
From Central, change for trains to Parramatta where you can connect with light rail services or walk to the stadium.
Please Note: From 2am to 4pm, train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel. Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle. Change at Wynyard for trains to T1 North Shore Line stations. For travel to or from Wynyard or Circular Quay use L2 or L3 light rail services.

If you’re driving to the game, plan to arrive early as car parks in the area are expected to be in high demand. Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium. Allow extra travel time on roads including Parramatta Road, Church Street, Victoria Road, James Ruse Drive and Pennant Hills Road.
Motorists should also exercise caution as pedestrian activity will be high on roads between Parramatta Interchange and the stadium.

Fans driving to the game should allow plenty of extra travel time as parking is expected to be in high demand.
The following car parks are within walking distance of the stadium. There's no public parking available on-site at CommBank Stadium on game days:
- Eat Street Car Park, entry via George Street
- Justice Precinct Car Park, entry via Hunter Street
- Parramatta Station Car Park, entry via Wentworth Street
