Ticketholders are urged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.  

Travel on transport is included in your ticket to the game.

Trains and Metro services run regularly to the City where you can connect with buses to Moore Park.

Please note, due to planned weekend trackwork L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford light rail services will not run on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November. See the news story for more information.

  • Light rail replacement buses run between Central and Randwick/Kingsford via Moore Park. Catch light rail replacement buses to Moore Park to get within walking distance of the stadium. Additional buses will run between Central and Moore Park before and after the match to help you get to and from the game. 
  • After the game return light rail replacement buses from Moore Park to the city, Randwick and Kingsford leave from the following stops
    • To Central Station: buses leave from the Moore Park bus terminal outside the stadium.
    • To Circular Quay: regular route 396 buses leave from Anzac Pde at Sydney Girls High School (Stop ID: 202116)
    • To Randwick and Kingsford: buses leave from Anzac Pde near Lang Rd at Centennial Parklands Sports Centre (Stop ID: 202128)

Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way. 

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to and from the match. Carpool with your group as parking in the precinct may fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.  

Parking is available near Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, EP3 grass car park on Driver Avenue, and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply.

Match Ticket Entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney FC 2024 season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services – just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney Metro North West services
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
  • Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services
  • Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to the A-League at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. 

Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park from Chalmers Street.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central change for light rail replacement buses to get to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way. 

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium. 

Trackwork

Planned weekend trackwork is taking place on Sunday 10 November on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:  

  • T8 Airport & South Line: From 5.40am to 8am, T8 trains will not run between Sydenham and the City. 
  • Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. Trains run between Mount Victoria and Central, some to a changed timetable. Bathurst trains run between Bathurst and Lithgow or Central, to a changed timetable. Some early morning and late-night services will run between Bathurst and Mount Victoria. If you are travelling to Lithgow to connect with NSW TrainLink Regional Coaches, please call 132 232 to confirm departure times. This trackwork continues until Sunday 17 November. 
  • South Coast Line: From 2.30am to 9.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. You may need to change buses to continue your journey. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. The 2.39 Kiama to Bondi Junction service will run up to 24 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Kiama to Coniston, then run to the normal timetable from Wollongong to Bondi Junction.

Regular route buses

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339 and 374. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road within short walking distance of the stadium.

Light rail replacement buses

Due to planned weekend trackwork on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, L2 and L3 light rail services will be replaced by buses:

  • Light rail replacement buses run between Central and Randwick/Kingsford via Moore Park. Catch light rail replacement buses to Moore Park to get within walking distance of the stadium. Additional buses will run between Central and Moore Park before and after the match to help you get to and from the game. 
  • After the game return light rail replacement buses from Moore Park to the city, Randwick and Kingsford leave from the following stops
    • To Central Station: buses leave from the Moore Park bus terminal outside the stadium.
    • To Circular Quay: regular route 396 buses leave from Anzac Pde at Sydney Girls High School (Stop ID: 202116)

Catch one of the many ferry services to Circular Quay and change for trains to Central to connect with light rail replacement buses to get to Moore Park.

Catch the 396 bus directly from Circular Quay to Moore Park. Alternatively, catch the train to Central and connect with the replacement bus services.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

From Central, change for light rail replacement buses to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.   

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavier than usual as fans travel to and from the match. Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays. 

Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 4pm and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area. No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas will be maintained from Lang Road.  

To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

If you’re using rideshare to get to the match, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for pick-up/drop-off locations.

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space. 

  • Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road. 
  • Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 3pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road. 
  • Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from around 3pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the stadium. 

Please note, EP2 grass car park will not open for this match.

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 11am to 9pm on sections of Albion Street and Fitzroy Street, and from 6am to 9pm on Cleveland Street.  

From 6am to 9pm 

  • Cleveland Street between South Dowling Street and City Road (southern side) 

  • Cleveland Street between Abercrombie Street and South Dowling Street (northern side) 

From 11am to 9pm 

  • Albion Street between Bourke Street and Flinders Street (both sides) 

  • Fitzroy Street between South Dowling Street and Bourke Street (northern side) 

From 2am Saturday 9 November to 2am Monday 11 November:

Special Event Clearways will be in effect to support Sydney Light Rail trackwork replacement bus operations on

  • Chalmers Street between Cleveland Street and Devonshire Street (western side)
  • Chalmers Street between Cleveland Street and Rutland Street (eastern side)

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types, and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
